We believe that true leadership begins with character, integrity, and the courage to stand up for what is right. At StMS, leadership is developed both inside and outside the classroom through student leadership opportunities, athletics, and buddy programs. Our students are empowered to speak with confidence, listen with humility, and guide their peers through positive example.
 

Student Empowerment & Mentorship

• Buddy Program: Older Angels mentor younger peers across all grade levels, modeling reverent participation at Mass, serving side-by-side on “Mission Experiences”, and leading spiritual retreats.
• Grade 8 Student Ambassadors: Eighth graders step up to serve as official school ambassadors, greeting prospective families and leading campus tours during Open Houses.
• National Junior Honor Society: Qualifying 7th and 8th graders are inducted into NJHS, celebrating outstanding scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
• Middle School Leadership Academy: This active student club plans, organizes, and executes Pep Rallies while supporting other school wide celebrations including Grandparents Day, concerts, and assemblies.
• Middle School Recycle Club: Embodying the call to care for God's creation, student leaders promote environmental stewardship and sustainability initiatives across campus.
• Grade 5 Safety Patrol: Fifth graders step into daily leadership by assisting with morning and afternoon carpool safety for fellow students.

Academic & Extracurricular Excellence

• Science Olympiad Team: Middle school students dive into hands-on STEM challenges, competing at regional and state tournaments and consistently earning individual and team medals.
• National History Day Club: Students dive deep into historical research for NHD regional, state, and national competitions, gaining critical research, writing, and presentation skills.
• Annual StMS Talent Show: A joyful stage where students across all grade levels share their unique, God-given gifts and talents with the entire school community.

Athletics & Sportsmanship

• Comprehensive Athletic Program: StMS offers different sports across the fall, winter, and spring seasons, promoting physical fitness, leadership, and Christ-like sportsmanship. From conference titles in Girls Varsity Soccer to top podium finishes in Cheerleading competitions, our athletic programs foster grit, discipline, and team unity.
• Christ-Like Character: Whether on the field, court, or track, Angel athletes represent StMS with pride, integrity, and outstanding sportsmanship.
