➔ The Messenger 

Our weekly newsletter and your primary source for school news and updates. Each Friday edition includes important announcements, upcoming events, reminders, and celebrations from across our StMS community. If you are not yet receiving The Messenger, or if you have any issues receiving school communications, please contact Lilly Peña, Director of Admissions and Communications, at communications@stmcary.org.


➔ Subscribe to the School Calendar

Subscribing ensures key school dates, holidays, and events automatically sync directly to your personal phone or computer calendar throughout the year. You can subscribe using one of the two options below:

  1. Log in your FACTS Family Portal, click on “Calendar” on the left-hand menu, then click on the Subscribe button.
  2. Copy this link and paste it on your preferred calendar app (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, etc.). Look for the option to Add Calendar by URL or Subscribe to Calendar, and paste the link: https://sma-nc.client.factsmgt.com/pwr/school/ical.cfm?u=1206318&h=750BD86C7119&s=&ut=PARENT&f2=788339&sc=SMA&t=s
     

➔ StMS Mobile App

Download our app to stay connected with your child’s grades, attendance, resource documents, and school updates… it’s easy and user-friendly. Download the free StMS FACTS Family Custom app using one of these 2 methods:

  1. Open Apple’s App Store or the Google Play Store – depending on your device type.  Search for “St Michael School Cary.”
  2. Open this link on a browser on your phone or tablet: https://a3a.me/stmichaelthearchangelcatholicschool

After downloading the app, you will need FACTS Family Portal login credentials to open some of the app’s features like Gradebook or Homework. (District code is SMA-NC).

After signing into the new app, you will receive an email and text to verify your account. For help logging in, simply click on the ‘How to Log In’ feature right in the app. For additional questions, please contact Director of Instructional Technology, Mrs. Cindy Gay at cgay@stmcary.org.

➔ Administration Open Door Policy

Mrs. Navarro and Mrs. Leising are both very willing to schedule time before, during, or after the school day to meet with parents. Meetings are scheduled through the school office at schooloffice@stmcary.org. 


➔ Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences

Teachers are always available to email or speak to a parent before or after the school day. However, at the conclusion of each semester, formal conferences may be scheduled. The teacher, or the team of teachers in the Middle School, meets with the student and parents.
