Non-Steward Rate $11,787
*PreK applicants of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church are eligible for the Catholic Steward Rate. PreK applicants belonging to other parishes are advised to check with those parishes specifically regarding PreK eligibility.
2025-2026 St. Michael Catholic Steward Tuition Rate Guidelines
The St. Michael Catholic Steward Tuition Rate is designed to support Catholic families in our parish who have committed to being an active part of our faith community through gifts of Time, Talent, and Treasure. Catholic Steward families are those who are dedicated to raising their children in the Catholic faith. The family must be fully registered members of St. Michael Parish at the time of the Stewardship application and be active in the Parish community. We work hard to recognize their contributions to our parish by making Catholic education that matches those values more affordable. These active families attend Sunday Mass regularly and serve in the community through the gifts of time, talent, and treasure, and we are grateful for their dedication.

October 31st, 2024 – Families with a RETURNING Cardinal Gibbons High School student(s)
January 8th, 2025 – Families with a NEW Cardinal Gibbons High School student(s)
March 1st, 2025 – All other families

You are welcome to apply for the Catholic Steward rate by submitting a letter from your most recent parish documenting that you were registered, active and contributing parish members.
Registered Parishioners of St. Andrew the Apostle in Apex or Mother Teresa Parish in Cary?
Please follow your own parish’s stewardship application process.
Registered in Another Local Diocesan Parish?
Please follow your own parish’s stewardship application process. Once approved, you will need to submit a letter from your Pastor stating that your family is approved and that your Pastor is willing to pay St. Michael the Archangel the subsidy of $500 per year/per student.

Additional Fees
Application Fee

Instructional Fee
PreKindergarten through Grade 8…………………………………………$405.00
For all students in PreK-8th grade, due at time of enrollment/re-enrollment.
Fee is non-refundable after May 15, 2024.
Technology Fee
Grade 6-Grade 8………………………………………………………………$125.00
For all students in Grades 6 - 8.
Athletics Fee
For Cross Country, Boys and Girls Club Tennis, Golf, and Cheerleading…$100.00
For all other Sports……………………………………………………………$200.00
Only for students in Grades 6 - 8 participating in Athletics.
Fee is per student and per sport.
The instructional fee covers registration materials, rental of hard-cover textbooks and online resources, consumable workbooks, classroom supplies, assignment books, art materials, physical education equipment (playground balls, jump ropes, etc. for use by classrooms during recess times), science lab fees for consumable materials.
The technology fee covers costs associated with each child's Chromebook, charger, protective cover, security software, and St. Michael School's upkeep and maintenance of the device during the student's middle school years. Upon graduation, each student will then be allowed to keep their Chromebook.
There are occasional expenses that arise as part of our curricular and extracurricular activities, these include (but may not be limited to): before/after school care, lunch, field trips, etc.
Tuition & Fees Payments
St. Michael School does not accept tuition or fees payments by check. All payments must be made through FACTS Tuition Management.
Tuition Payment Options
There are 3 different tuition payment options available for parents as follows:
Withdrawal Policy
In order to withdraw a student, families must provide written notification to the school by emailing admissions@stmcary.org AND administration@stmcary.org.
Registered students who withdraw after May 31, 2024 will be responsible for one additional month’s tuition. The school will not forward records for students who withdraw with an outstanding balance.
