PreK - Grade 8 Curriculum
Our mission is to serve our St. Michael students by meeting their academic, social, and emotional needs.
Curriculum is provided by the Diocese of Raleigh and used in all Diocesan schools
Cursive handwriting (beginning in 2nd grade)
Iowa Assessments and CogAt (Cognitive Abilities Test) taken each October in Grades 2-8
Participation in The Positivity Project Character Education Program
Connections Program for remediation and extension supports the teachers and ITAs for differentiation and small group instruction.
Director of Curriculum provides support for best practices during Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) and in the classroom.
Connection teachers support the learning needs of students with psychoeducational testing in small groups through a push-in model.
Two school counselors, Ms. Lael Mills and Ms. Jennifer Easley, form small groups and work with students individually to support social and emotional needs.
