St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School Uniforms

St. Michael School expects students to follow dress code guidelines that reflect our Catholic values and
support a focused, respectful learning environment.

General Expectations

  • Students must wear the approved uniform every day unless it's an announced Out-of-Uniform (OOU) day.
Students must follow the dress code rules for those days.
  • The Mass Uniform is worn on all Mass days and designated special occasions; it may also be worn on any
school day, except PE days. *PreK and Kindergarten students are NOT required to purchase a Mass
uniform for the 2025–2026 school year, as they will wear their PE uniform on these days.
  • Physical Education uniforms shall be worn to school on P.E. days.
  • If there is a time when the prescribed school uniform cannot for some legitimate reason be worn, a note
from the parent/guardian must be written to the Administration (administration@stmcary.org) and the
homeroom teacher. If a student is out of uniform without a valid reason, parents may be asked to bring
proper clothing or the student may be given a uniform item from the Angel Donations Rack.
  • All clothing should be clean, ironed, free of rips or missing buttons, and hem intact.
  • No undergarments may be visible underneath the uniform.
  • ALL UNIFORM REGULATIONS AND DRESS CODE GUIDELINES ARE SUBJECT TO THE DISCRETION
    OF THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION.

Branding and Logos

  • The marks of St. Michael School are controlled by St. Michael School and St. Michael Parish. Any use of
the St. Michael name (in all variations), logos, or effort to represent the school will require written approval
from school administration. This includes apparel, signage, merchandise, and any other product at the
discretion of administration. For questions, please contact communications@stmcary.org.
