Teaching them how to navigate the digital world safely and ethically is essential in today's interconnected society.
Technology Electives: Grades 7 and 8 have the opportunity to study computer programming and/or a STEM elective.
Controlled/Safe Access to Information: StMS uses GoGuardian software to provide filters and all students a safer online environment. This technology enables students to access a wealth of information and resources instantly. They can conduct research, explore new topics, and stay updated with current events, all of which contribute to a well-rounded education.

1:1 Technology
PreK- K: Each student has an iPad used for online learning apps and i-Ready.
1st - 5th: Students are provided touchscreen Chromebooks which are used in school only.
6th-8th: Students have access to touchscreen Chromebooks which they use in school and at home.

i-Ready is an online program for reading and/or mathematics that will help your student’s teacher(s) determine your student’s needs, personalize their learning, and monitor progress throughout the school year. i-Ready allows your teacher(s) to meet your student exactly where they are and provides data to increase your student’s learning gains.

i-Ready Diagnostic
The i-Ready Diagnostic is an adaptive assessment that adjusts its questions to suit your student’s needs. Each item a student sees is individualized based on their answer to the previous question. For example, a series of correct answers will result in slightly harder questions, while a series of incorrect answers will yield slightly easier questions. The purpose of this is not to give your student a score or grade, but instead to determine how best to support your student’s learning.
