School Counselor

Our full-time school counselor plays a vital role in promoting the emotional and social health of our students. Available on campus from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. five days a week, the counselor:

  • Meets with students one-on-one and in small groups
  • Provides guidance lessons and classroom support
  • Assists with conflict resolution, friendship skills, and emotional regulation
  • Collaborates with teachers and families to support individual student needs
  • Supports students through times of change, stress, or difficulty

The counselor works with all grade levels and is a trusted resource for students as they grow in confidence, self-awareness, and faith.

If you have questions or wish to connect with our counselor, Ms. Tiara Gilbert, please reach out to counselor@stmcary.org.
