Parent Session with School Counselor, Ms. Tiara Gilbert

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 13 at 8:15 a.m. in the Media Center for a parent session with our School Counselor, Ms. Tiara Gilbert. In recent survey responses, many parents indicated an interest in a conversation around difficult parenting topics such as social media, managing social dynamics, and coping mechanisms for kids when things get hard. Ms. Gilbert will share a bit about her training and why she loves the work that she does, and why it is important work. She will then introduce a topic and lead the conversation resulting in tangible takeaways for all in attendance. Just as Ms. Gilbert has been visiting every class to work with students as a large group, she looks forward to interacting with all our wonderful parents too!
